The preferred and most accurate way to ensure you are ordering the correct ring size is to visit your local jeweler or jewelry store to get sized with a professional ring sizer. You can also order a plastic ring sizer from us.

First and foremost, we encourage you to get properly sized by a jeweler/jewelry establishment prior to placing your order. Rings are are made-to-order according to your specific ring size. Not all ring mandrels (what is used to measure a ring's size) are created equal, and they can vary by 1/4 of a size. If you need your ring resized by 1/4 of a size or less, resizing is complimentary (less shipping fees).
If you need a size alteration greater than 1/4 of a size up or down, a $60 resizing fee applies for Sterling Silver, 14k, and 18k. A $100 resizing fee applies for Platinum. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Resizing is available for most ring styles, but be sure to email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about the eligibility of your specific piece. Turnaround is approx. 7-10 days.
All items exceeding $200 USD are FINAL SALE. Orders totaling less than $200 USD may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receipt for an item of equal or lesser value or credit toward a future purchase.

Please include your name, order number, and reason for the return. We will provide a return shipping address once return is approved. Your account will be credited for the merchandise amount (and sales tax, if applicable), less shipping fees, once we receive your item(s). All shipping fees on returned items are the responsibility of the buyer.
Should items be damaged or lost in transit, we must be notified within 3 days of receipt in order to accommodate replacement requests.
- We cannot accept returns or exchanges for items that were purchased from an outside retailer.
- Custom projects and one of a kind works are FINAL SALE.
Items come boxed and packaged inside of a reusable M. Hisae jewelry pouch. If your order is a gift and you would like it gift wrapped, please select the gift wrapping option on the product page (cost is $15) when you're adding the item to your cart. We're happy to include a personalized message along with your order. Simply leave this message in your order notes at checkout.
Any orders shipped within Connecticut State will incur a 6.35% sales tax.

Checks are accepted upon request. Your item will be shipped once check is received and deposit is cleared.
Quality takes time. Each piece is made-to-order, which means production begins once you submit your order. Production timelines are listed on each product page. Items ship immediately once finished, and transit times vary depending upon your location. Tracking details are emailed to you immediately upon shipment of your order, and an estimated arrival is listed within this tracking link. See below for estimated transit times.

Yes. M. Hisae is USA-based, but we ship all over the world. We currently offer Priority Mail International (6-10 days), Priority Mail Express International (3-5 days), and DHL (2-5 days) available in the shipping stage at checkout.
For non-U.S. shipments, research of and payment for customs/VAT fees are the responsibility of the buyer. M. Hisae is releases all financial liability related to customs inquiries once the package has been picked up by the shipping carrier.
International shipping costs apply, and transit times vary significantly depending on destination. If you need items by a specific date, email firstname.lastname@example.org beforehand to ensure we can accommodate this request.
USPS, FedEx, and DHL
Orders can be expedited on a case by case basis, though they are often accommodated. Email email@example.com with the item(s) you'd like to purchase, your location, and the date by which you need them delivered. A $50 rush fee will apply.
Materials & Care
All items in the online shop are solid Sterling Silver, 14k Gold, 18k Gold, or Platinum. M. Hisae does not use any plated or metal clad materials. Brass is offered only as a sample material for at-home try ons. All castings, sheet and wire are are certified 100% recycled metals. Visit the Studio & Materials page to learn more.
If worn regularly and stored in sealed compartments when not being worn, solid Gold and Sterling Silver keep well and require little care. Should they be left unworn for longer periods of time, exposed to humid air, or come in contact with lotions or oils, tarnishing may occur.
For best results, wrap pieces individually in soft cloths and store them in sealed ziploc bags. Metals do interact to cause tarnishing, so separation is key.
Solution #1: A quality polishing cloth. (Use the one that came complimentary with your order!)
Solution #2: Soak in warm soapy water for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Then, gently brush into crevices with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Rinse with warm water and dry completely with a soft cloth.

The app gives you an idea of how much you can borrow through a virtual card. Later, if you request a loan and are approved, you’ll get a virtual card to use at almost any online or in-store checkout.

Our partner stores may give you the opportunity to prequalify while you’re on their site or in their store. This shows you how much you can borrow to use only at their store.
The app vs. partner stores
Keep in mind, you might prequalify in the app, but not at a partner store. Or, you may prequalify at a partner store, but not in the app.That’s because these experiences work differently. Use the app to see if you prequalify almost anywhere. Visit a partner store to see if you prequalify with just that store.
Affirm loans usually last 3, 6, or 12 months, and you get to pick from these options when you apply. There are exceptions to this, so please read on.
Longer (or shorter) options
For really large loans, you might get an option for up to 48 months. For much smaller loans, you may get 1–3 months, without the option to pay over a longer period.
Changing the options
Your options change depending on the store, your purchase, and your current credit profile. So if you don’t like your options this time around, you can also try again later for something else.
How to find the term length
No matter what, Affirm will always be upfront about how long you have to pay them back. They’ll show you the loan’s length when you apply. And they’ll continue to show this and other important details on your Affirm account.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a refund. We will assess your return request. Should your refund be approved, the refund amount will show up in your account within 3–45 business days, and your Affirm account balance will be updated.
While you’re waiting for your refund, please continue to make any monthly payments that are due.
Refund is less than balance
If your refund is less than your total purchase balance, it might not lower your next monthly payment. Instead, you can expect fewer monthly payments, a smaller final payment, or both.

If your refund is more than your purchase balance, you’ll get back the difference, minus any interest you’ve paid. Affirm will credit your payment method within 3–10 business days.
On a case-by-case basis, no interest, two-installment payment plans are available for single items totaling over $2,000 USD. 50% of the total cost, including shipping, is invoiced and paid to confirm your order. The remaining 50% is invoiced and paid once your item(s) are ready to ship. Items only ship after final payment has been submitted and cleared.
